All our original and antique fireplaces are fully hand restored by DJ to a professional standard.

Many of our tiled fireplaces on show do not have to come with the tiles shown in the picture. They can often be interchanged to other tile choices in stock or from our suppliers. Many of our surrounds in the shop can also be interchanged. This is to ensure that we offer the customer the widest choice possible, which helps to make each fireplace as individual as you.

Only when the customer is certain do we encase the tiles into the fireplace, as was traditionally done by craftsmen of the period. Our policy is never to divorce tiles and fireplaces that have been bonded in this way.

The majority of our business during nearly thirty years in selling original and hand restored fireplaces, has come through recommendations by previous customers and many return after they have moved home to buy from us again.

The family have a solid knowledge base of the fireplace trade and are respected by fellow traders and customers alike.
